Free West End seniors event offers wellness, prizes and expert talks on June 4

The West End Seniors Activity Centre is set to host the Older, Bolder, Better Exhibition and Symposium on June 4. The event will take place at River Cree Resort and Casino, offering free entry to all attendees. Organisers promise a packed programme with over a hundred exhibitors and prize giveaways.

The symposium has drawn strong support from the chiropractic community. The Chiropractic Association of Alberta serves as the Platinum Plus sponsor. Dr Jacqueline Boyd, the association’s chair, will also deliver a talk during the event.

Attendees can explore resources aimed at healthy ageing. Alberta Blue Cross provides seniors with an annual $200 benefit to support mobility and wellness. The funding helps cover services that promote active living as people grow older. With more than 100 exhibitors, the event will showcase products, services, and information tailored to older adults. Visitors can enter draws for prizes while learning about ways to stay fit and independent.

The free event on June 4 brings together experts, vendors, and seniors under one roof. Alberta Blue Cross benefits and prize opportunities add extra value for those attending. Organisers aim to make the day both informative and engaging for older residents.
