Berlin pharmacists rally for policy changes after coalition promises

"I am very satisfied with what we achieved today—we were highly visible and made ourselves heard," said Dr. Ina Lucas, vice president of ABDA and head of the Berlin Chamber of Pharmacists, immediately after yesterday's rally in the capital. The pharmacy profession had successfully delivered its message, she noted. Now, politicians must do more than offer words of support and solidarity—they must follow through on the coalition agreement's concrete commitments. While no further escalation is currently planned due to the positive signals received, Lucas urged continued vigilance: "We must wait and see if we can ultimately succeed, but we cannot let up—we have to keep fighting."
