Firefighter's Triplets Born on Fire Service Day Bring Joy to Sochi Family
A firefighter in Sochi has welcomed triplets born naturally on Fire Service Day. The two boys and one girl arrived at 34.5 weeks and spent time under medical care at the city’s Perinatal Center. Their parents have described the birth as a joyful moment in their lives. The triplets—Arseny, Grigory, and Viktoria—were delivered without complications but required close monitoring. Doctors at Sochi’s Perinatal Center kept them under supervision until their discharge on 22 May.
Their father, a firefighter, celebrated the timing of their birth, which coincided with his professional holiday. Deputy Governor Yelena Vorobyova visited the family to offer her congratulations and thanked the medical team for their work. The arrival of the triplets comes as regional health services expand. This year, the *Maternity and Childhood Protection* programme will supply over 90 new medical devices to three perinatal centres. Eight mobile medical complexes will also be delivered to children’s clinics. Alongside upgrades in technology, facilities are being renovated and new ones opened.
The triplets have now left the hospital in good health. Their birth highlights ongoing improvements in perinatal care across the region. New equipment and modernised facilities aim to support more families in the future.
