Robert Palfrader reveals health crisis after heart and lung scare

Robert Palfrader, the well-known Austrian entertainer, has spoken openly about his recent health struggles. The 57-year-old was hospitalised in early April after suffering from serious heart and lung issues. His revelation came during a Radatz event marking World Käs'krainer Day. Palfrader’s health problems began with fluid accumulating in his lungs. Doctors later diagnosed him with myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle. His condition was worsened by atrial fibrillation and bronchitis, leading to his hospital admission.

The performer admitted that overwork, chronic stress, and neglecting self-care had triggered his health crisis. His father’s death at 61 also weighed on him—Palfrader is now just four years younger than his father was at the time. This realisation prompted deep reflection on his own lifestyle and priorities.

After treatment, Palfrader has been discharged and is recovering. However, he has asked fans for patience, as he is not yet fully back to his usual routine. The health scare has forced Palfrader to reassess his approach to work and well-being. He remains focused on recovery while gradually returning to public life. His experience has highlighted the risks of prolonged stress and the importance of self-care.
