Driver shows up at police station high on drugs—then gets arrested

VAREL, Germany (OTS) — On the evening of Tuesday, March 24, 2026, a 29-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman from Zetel arrived at the Varel police station. During the subsequent conversation, officers determined that the man was under the influence of narcotics but had driven a car to reach the precinct. A preliminary drug test returned positive for THC. As a result, a blood sample was taken, and he was prohibited from continuing to drive.
