Free June Course Offers Vital Support for Carers of Loved Ones with Depression
A new three-part course is now open for registration, designed to help those supporting loved ones with depression or late-life depression. The sessions will take place on June 11, 18, and 25, running from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM each day. Participation comes at no cost to attendees. The course aims to give family members practical knowledge on recognising symptoms and providing effective support. Each session lasts three hours, offering both structured guidance and opportunities to share experiences with others in similar situations.
Participants will also receive details about additional support services available to them. Organised in partnership with AOK Rheinland/Hamburg, the programme forms part of the organisation’s wider family caregiving initiative.
The free sessions provide a structured space for learning and mutual support. Those caring for someone with depression can register now to gain tools and connections for their role. The course runs over three evenings in June, with each meeting lasting three hours.
