Online community responds to HHS review contradicting Nike study on transgender treatments: "Simply Avoid It"

Fresh Take:

The Department of Health and Human Services, under the leadership of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., recently dropped a bombshell: a thorough, 409-page report that shatters the narrative around transgender treatments for minors. This eye-opener rips apart the "gender affirming care" propaganda peddled by the media, labeling it misleading at best and potentially harmful at worst.

The report exposes the weak evidence backing these treatments and their potential to inflict irreversible damage.

Additionally, the study dealt a devastating blow to a study seemingly funded by Nike. This research aimed to experiment with puberty blockers on children to examine their impact on athletic performance. Despite Nike's silence on the matter, this report highlights alarming concerns that the study could have irreparably harmed children, all for the sake of confirming age-old biological facts about gender and physical advantage in sports.

Our platform reached out to Nike for comment, seeking to understand if the company regrets imploring funds for treatments with such severe consequences. As of publication, Nike has yet to respond. Similarly, we attempted to gather insights from Secretary Kennedy and NIH-head Dr. Jay Bhattacharya regarding the Nike study, but have received no response.

Post-release, social media platforms were abuzz with reactions, showcasing the media's dedication to the preferred narrative.

Riley Gaines, a prominent figure on our platform, expressed her reaction in a post, sharing a video featuring Stephen Miller discussing the report. In her post, she highlighted what the HHS had achieved with this report:

"HHS has systematically eliminated all of the junk science produced under the Biden Administration that advocated for the sterilization of children," the post reads.

In short, the HHS report serves as a damning indictment of the Biden administration's extremism on transgender treatments. The report draws attention to the administration's blind adherence to the trans activists' rhetoric.

Jennifer Sey also weighed in, expressing her satisfaction that the report had validated her vote for President Trump. She also pointed out Nike's treatment of women's rights, questioning its deserving of consumer support.

Jamie Reed, a former employee at a transgender treatment center, reacted to the HHS report, declaring "gender medicine has been gay conversion therapy since the beginning."

In essence, the report shines a light on the harmful practices of sterilizing children, unproven medical experiments, and the potentially irreversible damage caused, all in the name of the "gender affirming care" label and crusades to "protect trans kids."

Even post-HHS bombshell, the media continues to peddle the preferred narrative. When discussing the report on their platform, the Washington Post glossed over the conclusions, resorting instead to partisan criticism.

As X user Ben Appel pointed out, the Post claims that "other scientific reviews found evidence favoring treatments," which is a deceptive conclusion. Appel notes that the cited review actually agrees with HHS that the evidence is "low or very low in quality."

It's not just the Post; legacy media outlets on the whole have been accused of regurgitating biased, activist-friendly reports.

As Dr. Bhattacharya noted in the report's press release,"Science should follow evidence and reality, not activist agendas." That's exactly what HHS did with its new report, the opposite of what the media and Nike allegedly did.

  1. The HHS report, which addresses transgender treatments for minors, has shed light on the role of science in health-and-wellness, particularly sexual and mental health, challenging the narrative that has been prevalent in the media.
  2. The ongoing debate about a Nike-funded study on the impact of puberty blockers on children's athletic performance represents the intersection of science, health-and-wellness, and entertainment, as Nike's contribution to this field is under scrutiny.
  3. The report's revelations about the media's bias towards certain narratives, specifically those concerning transgender issues and health, have raised questions about the role of social media and its influence on general news and politics.
  4. In response to the HHS report, some platforms have experienced heated discussions, showcasing a clash of opinions between individuals, influencers, and even organizations, demonstrating the complex interplay of science, health-and-wellness, politics, and entertainment in shaping public discourse.
Extreme entities, including media outlets and radical groups, expressed opinions regarding the recently-released report on transgender care options for minors, published by the Department of Health and Human Services.
