Radiant Summer programme brings free wellness and disco fun for seniors
A new series of summer activities for older adults has launched in the city. The programme, titled Radiant Summer, will run until September and feature wellness sessions, social events, and live performances. Organisers aim to encourage active living and community engagement among seniors. Daily wellness workouts will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in local parks and along Nurzhol Boulevard. Qualified instructors from the Active Longevity Center will lead sessions in yoga, Pilates, rehabilitative exercises, Nordic walking, and Qigong.
The popular *Retro Disco for Seniors* returns for a second year, following 15 successful events in 2025. This summer, the disco will be held every Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Participants can enjoy live music, with performances by senior concert artists, dance ensembles, and solo acts. The initiative builds on last year’s positive feedback. Activities are designed to support physical health, social connections, and enjoyable leisure time for older residents.
The Radiant Summer programme offers structured wellness and entertainment options until September. Seniors can join daily workouts or weekly disco evenings at no cost. Organisers hope the events will foster a sense of community while promoting an active lifestyle.
