St. Luke's Jerome Unveils Expanded Therapy Space for Faster Patient Recovery

St. Luke’s Jerome has opened a larger therapy area for patients recovering strength and mobility. The expansion was officially unveiled on April 28, 2026, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the hospital’s chief operating officer. The new space is designed to help patients regain independence before going home. During the opening, occupational therapist Jason Urry showcased how the equipment would be used for rehabilitation.

Therapists Urry and Mike Sawyer were present in one of the newly expanded rooms. Urry had contributed ideas to shape the layout and function of the area. The facility now offers more room for tailored therapy sessions. Patients will have access to improved equipment and a better environment for recovery. The expansion aims to speed up rehabilitation and support safer returns home.
