The image shows an old postcard of children playing on the beach at Bathing Beach in Lincoln Park, Chicago. We can see a group of people standing on the seashore, some of them holding ropes, while others are in the water. In the background, there are boats, a house with a roof, a flagpole with a flag, some birds flying in the air, and a cloudy sky. At the bottom of the image, there is some text.

Vladivostok's SUP FEST 2026 returns with free beach sports and carnival fun

PrimaMedia, April 27 – The SUP FEST beach sports festival (0+) will return to Vladivostok for the third time this summer. On August 8–9, Patroclus Beach will host around 1,500 enthusiasts of active lifestyles, beach volleyball, open-water swimming, rowing, running, and, of course, stand-up paddleboarding. As tradition dictates, organizers have prepared a SUP carnival and costume run, along with food courts and activity zones.

The festival is organized by the RunDnsRun running club in partnership with the Addison advertising agency, with support from the DNS Group of Companies and the ANO "Opening the Sea to Vladivostok." The general partner is Hisense—a global leader in TV and home appliance manufacturing, as well as cutting-edge solutions across multiple industries. According to organizers, Hisense sponsors major international sporting events, including the UEFA European Championships (EURO 2016, EURO 2020, EURO 2024), the FIFA World Cup 2018™ and 2022™, and the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. This year, the company will also serve as an official sponsor of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.

SUP FEST 2026 will once again take place at Patroclus Beach, which is currently undergoing its third phase of renovation. The upgrades will transform the entire beach and add new courts for beach sports.

The festival's two-day program has been tailored to these changes, featuring beach volleyball, open-water races, SUP competitions, running events, and rowing. Highlights will include the SUP carnival and costume run, where participants in creative outfits will compete for originality, imagination, and showmanship.

Up to 1,500 people are expected to join the festival in 2026. Over the two days, visitors can enjoy a food court, interactive zones for children and adults, photo spots, and live music. The event will be free and open to all residents and guests of the city.

Organizers note that the general partner and other sponsors will provide medals, commemorative merchandise, and gifts for participants.

Detailed rules for each SUP FEST 2026 discipline are available on the official event website, supfestvvo.ru.
